• Merchants who install and use the App on their online stores.

• Customers of those Merchants who use the Preview AI widget to generate visual previews.

This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how it is used, how it is protected, and the choices available to users.
By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect data that is strictly necessary to provide and improve the Preview AI service.

2.1 Information from Merchants

When a Merchant installs the App, we may automatically access certain information from the e-commerce platform, including:

• Store name and domain

• Merchant name and email address

• Contact and billing information

• Product and product variation metadata (e.g. color, size, model)

This data is used exclusively for:

• Providing the App’s functionality

• Billing and subscription management

• Customer support and technical communication

If Merchants upload images of models or third parties (e.g. via a studio or catalog feature), they confirm that they have obtained all necessary rights and consents to process those images.

2.2 Information from Customers

To use the Preview AI widget, Customers may voluntarily upload an image (e.g. a photo of themselves or a real environment such as a room or wall).

• Uploading an image is entirely optional and initiated by the Customer.

• The image is processed together with the selected product image to generate a visual preview.

In limited cases (e.g. usage limits, abuse prevention, or premium flows), a Customer may be asked to provide an email address.
If provided, this email address may be shared with the Merchant whose store the Customer is using.

2.3 Order and Conversion Data

Preview AI may collect aggregated and anonymized order-related data, such as:

• Conversion events related to the preview widget

• Product identifiers

• Order value statistics

We do not collect or store personal order data such as customer names, shipping addresses, payment details, or personal contact information.

All conversion data is used strictly for analytics and performance reporting.

3. User Consent

Consent is built directly into the Preview AI user experience.

• Explicit action: Customers consent by actively uploading an image using the widget.

• Clear notice: The upload interface displays a clear message explaining how images are used and deleted.

• Voluntary use: Customers can choose not to use the preview feature at any time.

4. How We Use Information

We use collected information only for the following purposes:

4.1 To Provide the Service

• Customer-uploaded images are used solely to generate a visual preview of the selected product.

• Images are processed using Preview AI’s backend and third-party AI inference services.

• Images are never used for advertising, profiling, or unrelated purposes.

4.2 To Provide Analytics to Merchants

• Aggregated and anonymized data is used to show Merchants how the preview feature impacts conversions.

• No personal customer data is included in these analytics.

4.3 To Maintain and Improve the App

• We use anonymized and aggregated technical data to:

  • Monitor performance

  • Fix bugs

  • Improve usability and reliability

4.4 Communication and Support

• Merchant contact details are used to send:

  • Service-related updates

  • Billing notices

  • Support responses

5. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services

We do not sell or rent personal data.

We only share information with trusted third-party providers when strictly necessary to operate Preview AI.

Third-party services include:

• Wavespeed AI (AI inference provider)
  Customer-uploaded images and product images are sent to Wavespeed AI only to generate the requested preview image.
  Wavespeed AI acts as a data sub-processor and does not use data for model training or other purposes.

• Error Monitoring & Analytics Tools
  Used to detect bugs and improve product quality. These tools do not collect personal images.

• Customer Support Tools
  Used to manage communication with Merchants.

All providers are selected based on strong security and privacy commitments.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including:

• Encryption:
  All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest.

• Access Control:
  Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

• Isolated Processing:
  Image processing is handled in secure, isolated environments.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Merchant Data

Retained while the App is installed and as required for legal or accounting purposes.

Customer Images & Generated Previews

• Stored temporarily and exclusively to provide the preview feature.

• Automatically and permanently deleted after 7 days.

• Deletion is irreversible.

9. Children’s Privacy

Preview AI is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Merchant Responsibilities & Data Processing

Preview AI acts as a data processor on behalf of Merchants.

• Images are processed only to provide the preview feature.

• Merchants remain responsible for informing their customers via their own privacy policies.

• We provide template text to assist Merchants in compliance.

Virtual Product Preview Feature

Our store uses Preview AI, a visual preview tool that allows you to see how products may look before purchasing.

How it works:
When you choose to use this feature, you may upload a photo. By uploading a photo, you consent to its processing to generate a visual preview using artificial intelligence.

Data usage and retention:
Uploaded photos and generated preview images are stored temporarily and automatically deleted after 7 days. Images are not used for AI training or any other purpose.

Third-party processing:
Preview images are generated using Preview AI and its AI infrastructure providers. All data is encrypted and processed securely.

You may choose not to use this feature at any time.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Merchants will be notified of material changes via email or within the App.
